ABOUT DSTA

The Duluth-Superior Transportation Association (D.S.T.A.), with a history dating back to 1940, extends an invitation to you to join us. The D.S.T.A. membership comes from a wide spectrum of professionals in the Twin Ports, the Twin Cities and other parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Ontario. People from all modes of transportation including air, motor carriers, rail and water as well as commercial shippers, purchasers, manufacturers, government agencies, educators and students with an interest in transportation are welcome to join D.S.T.A. We currently have over 100 active members and a number of active retired members.

Our dinner meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of each month at various local restaurants and banquet facilities. The events consist of a social hour and dinner time followed by a presentation that is professional in nature and relates to current issues, educational topics or may include a tour of a transportation-related facility. The meetings present great networking opportunities. A full schedule is posted at events link above. This schedule will be updated for program content and event location on a monthly basis. On May 18 and October 19, 2011 we will be holding two major educational seminars at the University of Wisconsin-Superior addressing key topics in transportation with speakers from government and industry.

We will be holding a family day on Saturday September 17, 2011 at the Duluth Zoo.

Our annual Holiday program is scheduled for Friday January 13, 2012 at Black Bear Casino
