It was great to connect with so many people during the golf outing! We will have a few more events during 2021. During October we are planning an NLX educational presentation. See the next page for more information. This project has been in the works for several years so it will be a good update on the progress.
In early December, we will be having our annual election and combining it with the holiday party. If you have any interest in joining the DSTA board, please let me know by the end of November. There are 4 board meetings on average during the year. Board members are expected to co-chair a couple of events each year and are on the board for a 2-year term. We will have 2 board member positions available for anyone interested in serving the transportation industry. We also have a 2nd Vice President position available for anyone with previous DSTA board experience and interest in leading the DSTA in the future. This is a great opportunity to give back to the industry that has given us so much. It is also a great way to connect with others. Together we can do so much more!
