Happy August DSTA Members,
Can you believe that the Minnesota State Fair opened today?? That is my official countdown to Summer is almost over and Winter is right around the corner!!
Yikes! Well I hope everyone got to enjoy some Summer vacations and the beautiful weather we had. In case you forgot, we had a great turnout for our Summer Golf Outing at Black Bear(even though it was a little WET)!
Now on to our next event. On Wednesday, September 13th at Aces on 29, we will have Matt Marin from FMCSA as our guest speaker. Note that this is a date change from earlier as we had a scheduling conflict.
Happy Hour will begin at 5:00 with Matt beginning his presentation around 6:00. I hope we get many more attendees than we did last year when Matt presented. We are very lucky to be able to get Matt and I really hope our numbers show him we care. His presentations are always great and full of topics that are very close to all of us. Sign up is due September 8th and is only $10.00 a person, so get the whole office to come!!
We are working on another event for October and our Christmas Party will be at Black Bear this year! Stay tuned for more information on those events. Have a great end to Summer and a very safe Labor Day and I
