Our DSTA Holiday Gathering was held at Vintage Italian Pizza in Superior on January 4th. Guests build their own pasta dish from an array of options which included penne pasta, sausage, meatballs, chicken, roasted peppers and onions, and finished it all off with a red sauce and/or alfredo sauce. Salad and breadsticks accompanied the pasta creations along with delicious cake for dessert.
Following dinner, the DSTA’s resident auctioneer, Carl Svendsen, wowed us with his mad skills once again during or live auction portion of the evening. After all was said and done, over $2,000 was raised for the DSTA Scholarship Fund. Exciting times!
Up next was magician Kelvin Saline. Kelvin entertained us with everything from ventriloquism to tricks with ropes, rings and even “cut” a young lady in half (disclaimer: no human was hurt in this act).
The evening concluded with the drawing of tickets for some HUGE prizes which including 55″ Smart TV with Roku, Yeti Coller, iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy Tablet, iRobot Roomba and more!
