Oct 2017: President’s Note

The 21.3 million dollar Highway 210 Jay Cooke State Park project is finally coming to a completion, with a ribbon cutting ceremony slated for October 4th at 10:30am, which the public is invited to. Personally, I can’t wait to ride all the way through the park once again, especially at this time of year with the fall colors coming to a peak.

Our second annual “Fall into Fitness” challenge is well underway, with an astonishing 16 teams participating which is double the number of teams from our first endeavor! Best of luck to all of the individuals and teams! May the biggest losers win!

October’s meeting promises to be a very intriguing one, with a tour of Lake Assault Boats at Frasier Shipyards slated. Please ensure that you register to attend!

Looking ahead to November, our Past Presidents’ Night will be held at Blackwood’s in Proctor, MN on the 15th. This annual event honors those who have served as President and also is the time of year we elect officers and new board members. Please email me, at: leyla@jefffostertrucking.com if you are interested in running for a board position.

As always, take care and stay safe!
Until next month…
